Tulkens Books, Brussels, Belgium

Librairie (Florimond) Tulkens (formerly Louis de Meuleneere), 21 Rue du Chene, Brussels, Belgium.

I am looking for books that were stored for a century or more in this shop and then sold after it closed in 2008.

Some of these books had dust jackets made from scrap sheets of old quire stock. Others were fully wrapped in newsprint or plain paper. Some had printed publishers' jackets. The books range from 19th to early 20th century and are still in new condition. I am looking for any titles.

Please contact me, Mark Godburn, at bookmarkstore@att.net
I want to purchase these books. If they cannot be purchased, I wish to study them.

BELOW: three books from the Tulkens shop that were stored since new:
1. Book-Plates (1897), by W. J. Hardy, in dust jacket made from sheet of 1893 British book.
2. Dictionnaire des Sciences (1906) fully wrapped in plain paper with hand-stamped title, and second wrapping of scrap paper.
3. Grammaire des Arts Decoraties (n.d., circa 1890-1910) fully wrapped.
